Our
Mission
Cougar Pride Center aims to empower queer BYU students, celebrate progress, and advocate for change through collaborative activism. Founded in 2021, we are a volunteer-run organization that strives to create community and care for LGBTQ+ individuals on campus.
What We Do
We are an LGBTQ+ resource center for BYU students. We plan large-scale events — including Pride in April and our Drag Pageant in October, we collaborate for progress at BYU and in the community at large, and first-and-foremost, we provide essential services and resources that anyone may use, free of charge. Cougar Pride Center is a completely volunteer run organization, and we’re always looking for volunteers to staff our events and projects.
